Do I need to believe in God to be Jewish?

What happens after we die?

Where is God in times of tragedy?

How do I rest when I have no time?

12 Jewish Questions is a learning community for adults – Jewish and non-Jewish – who have questions about Jewish identity, beliefs, culture, and customs. It’s an environment to discover (and rediscover) the relevance of Judaism in our lives.

For Spring 2023, this class will take place at Temple on Monday evenings starting on March 13. There will also be a Friday night session on May 5.

Each class will include dinner from some of the DC area’s most popular restaurants.

The cost is $125 for WHC members; $225 for non-members*.

This course is available for free to the following groups:

  • WHC’s Sustaining Members
  • New Members of WHC (those who have joined WHC since September 2021)
  • Parents who have a child enrolled in one of WHC’s preschools or became b’nei mitzvah since August 2022
