Pack Thanksgiving meals for Abram Simon Elementary families in Anacostia, as well as shelters and pantries across D.C. and Maryland.

This year, you can help by: 

• Donating a bag through the TOV Fund. ($50 covers all the fixin’s plus a gift card for the main course).
• Bringing your own bag (SEE INGREDIENT LIST). Drop off at JBSC by Friday, November 21 or at Temple on Sunday, November 23.

Want to be an even bigger help? Work on any of these projects while you’re there:

• NEW THIS YEAR! Making beaded bracelets to send to Or Hadash, our twin congregation in Haifa, Israel
• Roll packs of underwear to go to children living in poverty — Undies for Everyone
• Decorate Thanksgiving cards
• Make turkey sandwiches
• Bake cranberry muffins
• Make trail mix
• Hunger Project (already included on registration)

  
  Religious School families are invited to a free pizza lunch at Temple from 12:00-1:00 pm. RSVP is required – email Leila Gordon at lgordon@whctemple.org.

  Through Friday, December 19, WHC is collecting new or gently used winter clothing to donate to Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). Learn how to donate.

Sunday Stuffing is generously supported by WHC’s TOV Fund. Hunger Packing will be part of the event.
