WHC Connections

WHC Connections is Washington Hebrew’s new small group program. It’s member-initiated and member-led.

Capped at around 15 members, each WHC Connections group will meet regularly over 3-6 months. Groups may be organized by demographic, topic, or interest area.

Haftarah Study Group

Every Shabbat afternoon an informal group of WHC members gets together on Zoom to discuss the Haftarah for that week. We begin with a read-through in English and continue sharing questions, answers, and opinions.

No prior familiarity with either the Haftarah or Hebrew is necessary. This group meets only on Zoom, and a link to join the conversation is usually sent out Friday night.

Saturdays, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Zoom

We are working to form additional groups in the coming months for challah bakers, people with disabilities and their family members, and divorced women.

For more information about these groups, or if you have an idea for a new WHC Connections group, please contact Jennifer Millstone, Director of Member Engagement.
