WHC’s Confirmation experience affirms our students’ connection to their synagogue community, while providing a strong foundation in Jewish values and a thorough understanding of Reform Jewish ideology and identity. Students can participate in Confirmation in many ways, including a trip to New York City, Tuesday night classes, the RAC L’taken Seminar, and serving as a YLP. The year culminates in the Confirmation service, designed and led by the Confirmands.

From the Lower East Side to the Upper West Side, Confirmands will experience “Jewish New York” with our clergy and staff.
Students will watch a Broadway play, tour the Lower East Side, attend Shabbat services at a historic New York Reform synagogue, enjoy dinner in Times Square, eat at a New York City deli, and see the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
