WHC’s Confirmation experience affirms our students’ connection to their synagogue community, while providing a strong foundation in Jewish values and a thorough understanding of Reform Jewish ideology and identity. Students can participate in Confirmation in many ways: a trip to New York City, Tuesday night classes, the RAC L’taken Seminar, and/or be a teen volunteer on Sunday mornings! From the Lower East Side to the Upper West Side, Confirmands will experience “Jewish New York” with our clergy and staff.
Students will watch a Broadway play, tour the Lower East Side, attend Shabbat services at a historic New York Reform synagogue, enjoy dinner in Times Square, eat at a New York City deli, and see the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
