Your Voice, Your Community: Introducing “My Temple Is…”

We know that Washington Hebrew Congregation is so much more than just a building. It’s a place of connection, growth, and vibrant Jewish life – but what makes our temple so very special is you.

That’s why we’re thrilled to launch a new campaign called “My Temple Is…”. This is your chance to share, in your own words, what belonging to our WHC community means to you.

How to Participate
It’s simple! Grab your phone and record a short video answering these three prompts:

1. “My Temple Is …” (What does WHC mean to you in a single word?)
2. “My Temple Is …” (Now, complete the thought from that single word. Tell us what makes WHC something you want to be a part of)
3. “My Temple Is Washington Hebrew Congregation.” (Just read that sentence)

Why Share Your Story?
This campaign celebrates the incredible diversity of our community and the meaningful reasons why each of us calls WHC home. Your stories help remind us about the true value of being a member. Plus, it’s a fun way to connect with fellow congregants!
