Who’s on First? It Could Be YOU!

UPDATE: Both teams are in need of players. Competitive players can email Rob Bindeman for details.

Gentlemen – did you know Washington Hebrew has a pair of softball teams? One is competitive and has its roster pretty well set. The second team is a bit looser and that’s where you come in.

The Washington Hebrew Nationals 2nd team needs a few new players this Spring. The season runs from April through the middle of June (holidays excepted) and games consist of doubleheaders on Sunday mornings from around 9-11:15 am (plenty of time to pick the kids up from Religious School). The team plays other synagogues from around Montgomery County, so bragging rights are definitely on the line.

It is not mandatory to attend every game because we know people have lives outside of softball and may be away on certain Spring weekends. It is a great way to give back to the congregation, network with some other guys, and enjoy being outside playing one of the greatest games there is.

The team is not ultra-competitive, but experience playing at any level is a plus.
