Three’s

Three-year-olds are curious. Learning about topics that fascinate them furthers their thinking.

Our investigations incorporate early literacy activities, math and science concepts, and imaginative play. We also take time for music, movement, and field trips.

Our teachers work with the children to match their interests with developmental goals. They ask reflective questions, encouraging your children to take time to observe their surroundings and formulate their own ideas.

For children who turn three by September 1.

Sweet Beginnings Programs for 3’s

Growing Minds and Hearts

All emotions are valid, and healthy expressions don’t often come naturally!

Through stories and expressive exercises as well as experiments with calming techniques, Kfirah and Kristin will promote self-regulation and resilience. Children will identify and share emotions and experiences they can relate to. Over the sessions, children will have the opportunity to create self-regulating tools.

Stepping Stones to Literacy

Spending time with friends is crucial to children’s social and emotional well-being. With three distinctive sessions per week, children will be invited to:

Draw and Share: There is nothing better than a crayon and paper to relieve tension, calm our bodies, and connect with friends.

Break the ice by breaking bread! During this scheduled snack time, children will engage in both informal and guided conversations to help develop communication and listening skills.

Work on collective social projects. When the world around us seems unsure, being part of something greater than ourselves with friends brings a smile, comfort, a sense of control, and accomplishment.

Mondays, 9:30 – 10:00 am
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30 – 11:00 am
Begins 8/31 (no class on 9/7)
