Jami has been a member of Washington Hebrew Congregation since moving to the area in 2009. As a Board member, she was the Co-Chair of the Cantor Search Committee and serves on the Professional Development Committee. She has also served on various other Temple committees, including the Religious School Committee, the Board Nominating Committee, and the Visioning Committee.

Jami is a Partner at Hobson & Company, a management consulting firm that specializes in creating return-on-investment and total-cost-of-ownership sales tools for enterprise technology and software vendors. In the wider community, Jami is a volunteer with Compass, which provides strategic consulting services to local nonprofits, and is a volunteer at Georgetown Day School. A graduate of Tufts University, Jami received her MBA from the Yale School of Management.

She lives in Bethesda with her husband, Matt, and daughters, Emily and Sophie, who attended Religious School, became b’not mitzvah at WHC, and are now part of the Confirmation program.
