David Rosenblum has been a practicing trial attorney in Alexandria, Virginia for 40 years. Originally from Laurens, South Carolina, he graduated from the University of South Carolina (B.A. 1974, J.D. 1977), where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review. He joined Washington Hebrew Congregation in 1988 soon after moving to the D.C. area.
David is married to Susan L. Rosenblum, and with their two adult children, Carlyn and Harris, they have enjoyed participating in the various congregational religious and service programs for over 35 years. Carlyn and Harris both attended Religious School, became b’nei mitzvah, and were confirmed at Washington Hebrew. David supports various Temple efforts, including SEA Change , Early Torah Study, Mitzvah Day, and interfaith study. He is also a longtime member of the Alexandria Host Lions Club, a local chapter of an international service organization, serving the needs of hearing- and sight-impaired individuals.
