Yom Kippur Study Session: Blacks and Jews in America: An Invitation to Dialogue

Wednesday October 5, 2022 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Temple

Dr. Jacques Berlinerblau in black crewneck in front of stone wall

An engaging discussion with Georgetown University professor Jacques Berlinerblau will explore a mystery: Why aren’t Blacks and Jews presently united in their efforts to combat white supremacy? As alt-right rhetoric becomes increasingly normalized in public life, the time seems right for these one-time allies to rekindle the fires of the civil rights movement. Moderated by Rabbi Shankman. The session will also be livestreamed.
