Best-selling author Kristin Harmel joins Rabbi Shankman online to discuss her latest book, The Book of Lost Names.

Inspired by true events, The Book of Lost Names follows Eva Traube Abrams, a graduate student who fled Paris with her mother in 1942 after the Nazis arrested her father. In a small mountain town in the Free Zone, Eva begins forging identity documents for Jewish children fleeing to Switzerland, but erasing people comes with a price. Along with a mysterious, handsome forger named Rémy, Eva decides they must find a way to preserve the names of the children who are too young to remember who they really are. The records they keep in The Book of Lost Names will become even more vital when the resistance cell they work for is betrayed and Rémy disappears.
