large choir on the bimah at WHC
  • This event has passed.

January’s Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend will be filled with wonderful activities, including tonight’s very special MLK Shabbat. WHC welcomes clergy from nearly two dozen churches and mosques in the D.C. area. Magnificent voices from several choirs join our cantors to lift us up with song as we honor the legacy and ideals of Dr. King.

Rev. Cornell William Brooks, lawyer, activist, educator, and former president of the NAACP, will address the congregation during services.
