Shabbat Hanukkah

Friday December 16, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Hybrid – Temple

Together with WHC clergy, welcome Shabbat together as one WHC community and celebrate Hanukkah!!

  • 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Tot Experience with Shabbat, a Family Dinner, and PJ Library
  • 6:15 pm – 6:50 pm – Snack, Sip, & Schmooze

SNACK — Hanukkah-themed hot appetizers, cheese, crackers, and fruit! Perfect for families looking to feed their kids before the service — and help get everyone into the holiday spirit!

SIP — Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

SCHMOOZE — This half-hour is a great time to connect with the people around you! Kids (and playful grown-ups) can play with giant Connect 4 and Jenga sets, cornhole, and other arts & crafts activities. Obviously, everyone can have their turn with dreidels, too!

  • 6:30 pm – 6:50 pm — Shot of Torah (Torah Study)
  • 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm — Service*
  • 8:00 pm- 8:30 pm — Oneg & Hanukkah Celebration
  • 8:00 pm — 2239’s Metro Minyan Hanukkah Dinner (Registration Required)

*A livestream is also available for those who cannot join us in person.
