We invite you to end the week and welcome Shabbat with us!

6:00 pm: Snack, Sip, and Schmooze (S3)

  • SNACK — Hot appetizers (we’ll have different items each week), cheese, crackers, and fruit! Perfect for families looking to feed their kids before the service.
  • SIP — Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
  • SCHMOOZE — This half-hour is a great time to connect with the people around you! And kids will also be engaged with giant Connect 4 and Jenga, cornhole games, a coloring table, and other arts & crafts activities.

About Our Featured Speaker:

Rebecca Arin DeForest is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve.  She served as a UH-60 Blackhawk Pilot in Iraq in 2005 as a Platoon Leader.  Currently, she is assigned to Headquarters Department of the Army, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6, where she serves as an Operations Research Analyst.  She has served as a Company Commander, in the Arizona Army National Guard, in the 2-285 Helicopter Assault Battalion. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Illinois, and a Master’s of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs at The George Washington University. Selection for the Army’s Congressional Fellowship brought her to Washington, where she served on the Hill and as Liaison working with Congress Members and Staff to enable Army Cyberspace missions.  She commissioned as a 2nd LT in 2002.
