We invite you to end the week and welcome Shabbat with us! Tonight, the LGBTQ+ Group will be gathering together for the evening.

Clergy will be announcing new steps to ensure that WHC is an accessible and inclusive place of worship for our more senior congregants and persons with disabilities. For more information, review the JDAIM 2023 Program Guide.

6:00 pm: Snack, Sip, and Schmooze (S3) & Shot of Torah (Torah Study)

SNACK — Hot appetizers (we’ll have different items each week), cheese, crackers, and fruit! Perfect for families looking to feed their kids before the service.

This week’s menu

  • Carrot Ginger Soup – Vegan and Gluten-Free
  • Tilapia w/ Tomatoes, Artichokes, and Mushrooms – Gluten-Free
  • Zucchini and Two Potato Pancakes – Vegan and Gluten-Free
  • Chicken Dumplings

SIP — Full bar, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

SCHMOOZE — This half-hour is a great time to connect with the people around you! And kids will also be engaged with giant Connect 4 and Jenga, cornhole games, a coloring table, and other arts & crafts activities.

6:30 pm: Shabbat service

7:30 pm: Oneg Shabbat

  • Mixed Fruit
  • Veggies & Dip
  • Cheese Platter
  • Cookies and/or Brownies
