  • This event has passed.

Hav-DOG-lah, a celebration of all things dogs and Shabbat. Join us at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center from 6-7 pm. There is no charge to attend but please pre-register so we know how many people (and dogs) to expect. By registering in advance you will also receive a free doggie giveaway to commemorate the event! Donations (both in advance and at the event) are also accepted to help offset the cost of this program, any proceeds will be split evenly between our youth group and Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center.

What makes Hav-DOG-lah special?

  • A dog themed Havdalah service
  • Hot dogs (Hebrew National and non meat alternatives) will be available.

Bring your dog(s)! Please follow these important guidelines….

  1. Please only bring your dog if they behave when around other dogs
  2. All dogs must be on leash at all times and be able to be controlled by whomever is holding the leash.
  3. Be prepared to pick up after your dog. Leave no trace!
  4. We reserve the right to ask any unruly dogs to leave.

You are welcome to come with “dogs out” (aka sandals, slides or flip flops)

Hav-DOG-lah is open to the entire community and is a family-friendly event. We look forward to sharing this special event with you.

In case of inclement weather, the event will still take place indoors, we just ask that you leave your dogs at home.
