Join fellow Washington Hebrew members on Wednesday, July 19, for a free dinner and a baseball game during the Bethesda Big Train’s Jewish Heritage Night!

The Bethesda Big Train is a summer league team, who play at Cabin John Park, in the Cal Ripken Sr Collegiate Baseball League. College players from around the country play for teams in DC, Maryland, and Virginia in this summer baseball league.

The Jewish Heritage Night game will have The Big Train host the DC Grays at Shirley Povich Field with the first pitch at 7 PM. Prior to the game, at 6:30 pm, Washington Hebrew member and RJWECC parent Jason Langsner — a Big Train season ticket holder and vice-chair for Israel Bonds Washington — will be hosting a kosher dinner at the picnic tables at the game. Jason will speak briefly about Israel Bonds “Double Mitzvah” program, where you can purchase Israel bonds and donate them to Washington Hebrew Congregation.

This is a free event, but space is limited. For additional information, or if you have any questions, please contact Ira Miller at imiller@whctemple.org.
