Collecting Supplies for Ukrainian Refugees

Throughout the month of April, in recognition of Passover, and the Jews exodus from Egypt, we will be collecting items to send overseas to Ukrainian refugees. If you would like to contribute, contact information is in the flyer below. If you’d prefer to make a monetary donation, our previous blog post on Ukraine has a number of organizations who need your support.

COLLECTING SUPPLIES FOR UKRAINIAN REFUGEES

WHC, JDC entwine and the JDC are collecting supplies for Ukrainian refugees.

What they need are:

  • SUPPLY FOODS
    Buckwheat, flour, rice, sunflower oil, sugar, tea, coffee, cocoa powder, condensed milk
  • CANNED & TINNED FOODS
    Meat, fish, paté, beans, tomatoes
  • BABY FOOD
    Baby formula, fruit & vegetable purées, teething biscuits
  • HYGIENE PRODUCTS
    Diapers, wet wipes, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, towels, rubber slippers
  • SNACKS
    Cookies, crackers, dried fruit, waffles, energy bars, chocolate bars, nuts, juices
  • MEDICINE
    Antidiabetic, antiplatelet, beta blockers, nitroglycerin and analogues, antihistamines, painkillers, antipyretic, antiseptics, anti-infllamatory, sedatives, blood pressure

While we are accepting donations from any category, WHC recommends something from the Medicine list.

This effort is organized by JDC, the leading global Jewish humanitarian organization at the forefront of providing aid and assistance to help the people of Ukraine.
