Babies & Baby Namings

Lindsay & Even Feldman celebrated the naming of their daughter, Mackenzie Gray Feldman (Maera Gavrielle).


B’nei Mitzvah

Charlie Blunt, the son of Abigail & Senator Roy Blunt, became a Bar Mitzvah.

Scott Post, the son of Ida & Patrick Post, became a Bar Mitzvah.

Emily Rubensetin, the daughter of Sandy & Sam Rubenstein, became a Bat Mitzvah.

Sophie Wohlstadter, the daughter of Jennifer Drogula & David Wolstadter, became a Bat Mitzvah.


 

 

Engagements & Marriages

Karen & Peter Winokur, celebrated the marriage of their son, Samuel Winokur, to Nicole Cohen.

Jo Ann & Steven Nemeroff celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Alixandra (Ali) Nemeroff, to Jeffrey Deckelbaum.


 

Honors & Awards

John M. Nannes received the 2017 Hermelin Award for exceptional volunteerism and philanthropy on behalf of the University of Michigan. John is the architect of the Law School’s most successful development initiative — the Nannes 3L Challenge.

Carol Schwartz, former D.C. Councilmember has published her autobiography, Quite a Life: From Defeat to Defeat … and Back. The subtitle was inspired by the poem “Life Is a Journey,” from the Union Prayer Book.
