David George, son of Mia Kogan & Alexander George, became a Bar Mitzvah.

Babies and Namings

Leigh & Don Sperling celebrated the birth of their granddaughter, Alexa Rochelle Sperling.

Gerdy Trachtman celebrated the birth of her grandson, Evan Lior Trachtman (Lior).

Honors and Awards

Sylvia and Saul Ritzenberg will posthumously receive the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” in recognition of their generosity and vision that helped establish WTEF’s new tennis, education, and community center in Southeast D.C.

Donna & Stan Stoller’s daughter, Gail Baer, has been named one of the “Best of Jewish Phoenix 2016” by the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix. She will be honored at a luncheon on February 19.
