Ira Miller joined Washington Hebrew Congregation in 2002 as Director of Youth Programs and currently serves as Director of Programming. Having worked in the field of informal Jewish education since 1994, Ira is recognized throughout the Union for Reform Judaism as a pioneer of synagogue youth work.

Ira completed the Professional Leadership Seminar at the Institute for Informal Jewish Education of Brandeis University and is a graduate of their M2 Senior Educators Cohort. He has a master’s degree in human resource development from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, and an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Miami.
