Create Connections – Become a Greeter!

Belonging to a synagogue is about creating a community and building lifelong relationships.

We embrace the Jewish value of kavod — dignity — which guides us to create a culture of respect from the moment anyone enters our spaces.

We celebrate the diversity of all the individuals and families who call WHC home.

First impressions are so important!

Our Greeters ensure that each person feels very welcome in our communal spaces and that every member recognizes they belong at WHC.

Become a Greeter

If you plan to attend High Holy Day services in person and would like to fulfill the mitzvah of greeting people at the door and circulating before and after services to answer questions about a WHC auxiliary or WHC in general, please email David Rosenblum.

We ask each Greeter to participate in a brief Zoom training session at the end of August. The session will be recorded, if you are unable to join us.
