High Holy Days 2026/5787

We hope your 2026 High Holy Day season was personally meaningful

Whether you’ve been part of WHC for a lifetime, are new to our community, or are simply looking for a meaningful High Holy Day experience, there’s a place for you at Washington Hebrew Congregation.

Welcome to WHC’s High Holy Day Hub, your resource for all things Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. We’re grateful to have shared this sacred season with you.

Double Your Gift Through October 2!

This High Holy Day season, an anonymous donor has offered a $200,000 matching gift if our community raises $200,000 for the Lewis S. Wiener Annual Fund, our most important source of unrestricted funding. By giving above and beyond standard membership dues, you will help unlock the full match, generate $400,000 for WHC, and be recognized in next year’s Annual Report. Every gift brings us closer to our $2.5 million annual fundraising goal and demonstrates what is possible when our entire community comes together.

As we begin 5787, turn reflection into action and be part of what is possible when our entire community comes together.
