Studying for the Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a fufilling part of the process that begins approximately 24 weeks prior to your child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah date.

You will be contacted by a tutor to arrange 12 weeks of individual appointments. A month later, 20 weeks prior to the Bar/Bat Mitzvah, your child will begin 12 weeks of 30-minute individual appointments with a tutor, then four weeks of 30-minute one-on-one appointments with the rabbi or cantor to whom you have been assigned. This process concludes with four weeks of hour-long sanctuary/chapel rehearsals with the same rabbi or cantor. If your child is becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah with another student, the final four weeks of sanctuary/chapel rehearsals will be with his or her partner.

*Adjustments are made to the schedule in the event that the training is to span the summer, winter, or spring vacations.
