Josh and his family have been members of Washington Hebrew Congregation for nearly 10 years. He has been active in WHC volunteer days and the civil rights trip for youth. He is a founder and partner of both the Washington, D.C. law firm Davis Goldberg & Galper and the communications firm Trident DMG, helping clients navigate challenges and opportunities that cut across law, media, policy and politics, and business. Josh got his start on Capitol Hill and was previously a partner at Orrick LLP and general counsel and policy head of a technology company.
In the broader community, Josh serves on the Section 5 Village of Chevy Chase Council and has previously served on the Appleseed national board, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Metro D.C. Chapter board, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee. Josh graduated from Yale College and Yale Law School.
Josh and his wife, Erin, live in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with their three sons, Bennett, Theo, and Nathan, each of whom attended or currently attend Religious School, and two of whom have become b’nei mitzvah at WHC.
