An active third-generation Temple member, Evan’s childhood years included Consecration, becoming a bar mitzvah, Confirmation, and leadership roles in youth programs at Washington Hebrew.

He and his wife were married at Temple and are proud to be raising a fourth-generation at Washington Hebrew. Evan is president and owner of Hercules Fence, a multi-faceted company specializing in all types of fencing and perimeter security solutions with a national portfolio that includes projects for residential, commercial, and government clients. A staunch supporter of the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, Cycle for Survival, Southeastern Guide Dogs, and the Fallen Marines of Bridge Company, Evan also leads campaigns at Hercules Fence in support of local food banks. Evan is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a major in political science and a minor in Psychology. He loves to ski, travel, spend time with family, and hike with his dog.

Evan and his wife, a former Mitzvah Day Chair, have three children who attended the RJWECC, are enrolled in Religious School, and are active in Temple life.
