In keeping with Judaism’s teachings of tikkun olam, to repair the world, Mitzvah Day inspires participants to pursue justice through social activism.
In the years since its inception, Mitzvah Day has evolved into one of the Congregation’s largest annual events and serves as a national model adopted by synagogues worldwide.
Thank you to everyone who came out to Temple, JBSC, and various sites in the community to volunteer for our 33rd annual Mitzvah Day on Sunday, April 7.
With your help, we cleaned up part of a local park, prepared thousands of meals for those fighting hunger and food insecurity, collected hundreds of new and gently used clothing items, and so much more!
