Staying in Motion Through Job Changes: Emotional Health and Practical Steps

As the federal government community continues to experience job loss, job change, instability and stress, Washington Hebrew Congregation is committed to continued meaningful support and practical assistance. We understand that when hopelessness, confusion, fear, and anger swirl, it can be harder to identify and take next steps. This 90-minute Zoom presentation will address both emotional and practical needs. Erica Berger LCSW will address the emotional, focusing on common emotional aspects of job instability and specific ways to care for our mental health. Judith Klavans, Ph.D. will address the practical, including how AI screening is best managed and general job search guidance.

Who: Federal workers experiencing job loss, change, or uncertainty — with speakers Erica Berger, LCSW, and Judith Klavans, Ph.D.
