Join WHC members who care about tikkun olam and social justice after Shabbat Services for a light dinner, dessert, and discussion on how we can use our voices to ensure preschool teachers in D.C. (including our own at Edlavitch-Tyser Early Childhood Center (E-T ECC)) are paid a fair wage. We will discuss the D.C. budget process, how we can be effective advocates as congregants of WHC, and the importance of the Early Childhood Education Pay Equity Fund.  This issue is also relevant in Maryland and Virginia.
