Register (even if you’re planning to livestream) Watch the Livestream
“Be the Light” alongside your WHC community. Following a joyful Shabbat service for all ages, the evening will feature sufganiyot and latkes so good you’ll swear they’re a miracle, Hanukkah-themed activities and crafts for kids, and a community candle lighting (bring your own hanukkiyah—we’ll provide the candles). Stop by our Hanukkah photo booth to capture memories that last longer than the oil did! We’ll also take a special moment to honor our longtime administrator, Debbie Heller, as we wish her well on her retirement.
At 6:00 pm: Join us at our pre-oneg for something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner), a drink (we offer a full bar, plus non-alcoholic options), and connect with your community. The special Hanukkah photo booth will be open as well! Children are always welcome — there are child-friendly food options, as well as games and a coloring table.
6:30 pm – Our Shabbat service begins in the sanctuary with our communal Hanukkah candle lighting. We’ll also be honoring December birthdays, so if that’s you and you’d like to be recognized, be sure to register below!
After the service – Stay for a festive oneg with Hanukkah treats, activities for kids, and to see Edlavitch Hall embody the theme and spirit of the holiday.
This week’s featured menu items include: (GF – Gluten-free, V – Vegetarian, VG – Vegan)
