This Saturday, join Cantors Bornick and Hamstra for a special Shabbat morning service. You’ll learn new melodies and deepen your understanding of the relationship between music and liturgy.

Our Shabbat morning service, led by our rabbis and cantors, often includes the b’nei mitzvah of one of our teens as well as the traditional elements of a Shabbat morning service: prayers, responsive readings, music, reading from the Torah, and a d’var Torah (interpretation of the weekly Torah portion). On mornings when there is no b’nei mitzvah, our clergy may use this opportunity to conduct a Learner’s Service and explain different aspects of the service or liturgy.
