Home > Events > Faith in Action > Rescheduled! MLK SunDAY of Service
It’s our annual MLK Day of Service, your chance to work side-by-side with our interfaith partners and provide much-needed items to folks across the DMV!
Dr. King once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” Guided by this question, volunteers of all ages will join forces to make a tangible impact in our community. Through acts of service, we will honor Dr. King’s legacy and strive to bring his dream of equality and compassion closer to reality.
We started our Clothing Drive at Shabbat Hanukkah. You can help by bringing new or gently used clothing and shoes for adults and children (warmer items are especially appreciated) to Temple or JBSC between now and January 26.
Registration is required for this event.
