It’s our biggest tikkun olam event of the year! Volunteer opportunities abound for all ages at both Temple and JBSC, as well as out in the community.
There will be multiple opportunities to help prepare food for those in need, including some WHC favorites like making trail mix, lasagnas, muffins, Hunger Project, and more. Kids, under adult supervision, can help make t-shirt dog toys, cards, and crafts. We are also supporting Women of WHC and the Brem Foundation’s Re-Bra initiative by collecting new and gently-used bras, which will go to women in need.
The spirit of giving extends beyond our synagogue walls. Volunteers will gather not only at Temple and JBSC, but also off-site for exciting service activities like park clean-ups, assisting at an animal sanctuary, and helping at a school for students with learning disability.
