Lee Yaron, 10/7: 100 Human Stories

At just 30, Lee Yaron became the youngest-ever winner of the National Jewish Book Award’s Book of the Year for “10/7: 100 Human Stories,” joining the ranks of literary giants like Philip Roth, Elie Wiesel, and David Grossman. Washington Hebrew now welcomes her to discuss the book, which offers readers a rare, ground-level understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the hearts and homes of its people. Rather than focusing on their last moments, “10/7: 100 Human Stories” weaves together rich human stories with larger historical and political contexts.
