Tonight we pay tribute and celebrate Juneteenth as members of our Jews of Color group share what the holiday means to them.

We invite you to end your week and welcome Shabbat with us!

At 6:00 pm and again after the service: Have something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner), a drink (we offer a full bar, plus non-alcoholic options), and connect with your community.

Kids are always welcome, and they’ll be able to eat before (and after) the service, play Connect 4, or create at a coloring table.

6:30 pm – Our Shabbat service begins. Rabbi Kelly Whitehead will provide remarks during the service. Rabbi Whitehead is the creator of NFTY’s Teen Jews of Color Fellowship. She serves on the board of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights and was selected as one of The NY Jewish Week’s 36 under 36 for 2021. She was recently named a rabbinic fellow at Temple Micah.
