WHC’s World Zionist Congress campaign team is putting our energy into action and working for a safe, secure, and democratic future for Israel in 2025.
The World Zionist Congress is the democratically elected international body that convenes every five years and is a way for Diaspora Jews like you to have a voice in Israel and stand up for pluralism, equality, security, and a path to peace. Both Rabbi Shankman and Rabbi Schmelkin are on the Vote Reform slate for 2025, so your vote could give WHC an important voice in the Congress. The 2025 WZC elections take place March 10 – May 4. Our congregation has started to build our team – and we need your help!
Our success in this campaign depends on building a team in our congregation to spread the word and get our members to vote. We would love you to join us!
For more information, or to volunteer, contact Rabbi Shankman, Rabbi Schmelkin, Cantor Bortnick, or one of our captains:
Our campaign will help ensure that Israel reflects our Reform Jewish values and is a place where our children and grandchildren will always be safe and welcome. The Reform Jewish representatives in the WZC help promote our values on issues that affect all of us.
We are motivated to act and know that together, we can create the Israel we want to see. Join your fellow Reform Jews from around the country and vote to ensure:
Our vision places Reform Jews as key players in the next chapter of Jewish history and it will make Jews in Israel and around the world more safe. Learn more about the WZC campaign at arza.org/wzc.
