Amram Scholar Series Presents: Rabbi Ariel Burger and Nadine Epstein

Join us for a special Amram Scholar Series lecture from Nadine Epstein, editor-in-chief of Moment Magazine, and Rabbi Ariel Burger, who are coming together to discuss the life and legacy of Elie Wiesel, based on their years of working with him.  Wiesel co-founded Moment in 1975 as a place of conversation for America’s Jews and became Epstein’s mentor when she took it over in 2004. Burger was just 15 when he first met Wiesel, and over the following decades, he would study and teach with him. As Wiesel’s former teaching assistant, Burger gives us a front-row seat in the classroom where the late Nobel laureate, activist, and author used listening and storytelling to keep memory alive.
