The Good News About Bad Behavior

Every parent experiences that feeling of irritation, shame, embarrassment, or frustration when their kid misbehaves. And now, with digital distractions everywhere and disapproving grandparents looking on, it seems like today’s children are having a harder time than ever maintaining self-control. Are we crazy, or is their behavior really worse now than ever before? Katherine (Kakki) Reynolds Lewis says it’s not all in our heads! An award-winning journalist, certified parent educator, (and WHC member and Religious School parent), she is also the author of the newly published book, The Good News About Bad Behavior: Why Kids Are Less Disciplined Than Ever and What to Do About It. You are invited to come hear Ms. Lewis speak about some game-changing parenting strategies and approaches at Sisterhood’s monthly meeting on Monday, May 7 at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center. The monthly meeting begins at 10:00 am and the program with Kakki starts at 11:00 am. There is no charge, and it is open to the community, but RSVPs are requested to help us plan.

Although online registration is now closed for Monday's program, walk-ins are most welcome. We look forward to seeing you!
