2239’s Metro Minyan Highlighted in “The Chronicle of Philanthropy”

Washington Hebrew Congregation 2239’s Metro Minyan was one of five programs featured this past weekend at an event designed to raise the profile of Washington-area nonprofits that have adopted innovative approaches to aspects of Jewish life.

Sponsored by Slingshot, 150 local foundation officials and philanthropists were invited to learn more about each organization’s response to the question, “What would your organization do with a grant of $30,000?”

The Chronicle of Philanthropy highlighted 2239’s Metro Minyan in their article about this event.
