WHC’s Virtual Connection Challenge: Our Commitment to You Continues

COVID-19 has certainly changed things. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is our commitment to staying connected to you and the values that guide our faith.

We remain committed to …

  • Providing comfort even when we can’t gather together for worship.
  • Enabling our Early Childhood Center teachers to provide daily explorations and experiences that help our preschoolers develop and grow.
  • Ensuring our b’nei mitzvah students can continue to prepare even when they can’t meet face-to-face with tutors and clergy.
  • Connecting with you even though we can’t sit around a table and learn or schmooze after Shabbat services.
Our computer, phone, and tablet screens are facilitating that connection.

We live stream; we Zoom; we YouTube; we Facebook, and we’ve discovered a new world through our shared virtual experiences. Nothing has stopped while our physical doors are closed.

We need your help to continue this vital connection for our community.

Three generous WHC donors – the Samuel Burtoff, M.D. Foundation, Inc., the Cherner family, and Pat & Larry Mann – have stepped forward in a profound and generous demonstration of our values.

To ensure that we can continue to fund the technologies that are keeping us connected during these uncertain times, these families have pledged to match every contribution made – dollar-for-dollar – up to a total of $60,000!
