Creating Opportunities for WHC's Youth

Washington Hebrew Congregation’s Youth Committee provides an invaluable resource to our Youth Department. These lay leaders work with our staff to ensure the highest possible quality of programming for the Congregation's youngest members. Youth Committee members assist with major Youth Department events including the Purim Carnival and Clash of the Classes, as well as help spearhead fundraising opportunities that benefit our youth.

Washington Hebrew Congregation has four youth groups: ETY for 3rd & 4th graders, CLUB 56 for 5th & 6th graders, Hatikvah for 7th & 8th graders and WHECTY for high school students.

We are currently looking for additional members for this committee who believe in the goals of creating strong Jewish community and identity and want to show their support for our youth groups.
