We have a terrific opportunity for our post-Confirmation students to see WHC friends, spend time with clergy, and learn a little, too. Chai-Lights meets six times during the year at students' homes, and includes dinner, social time, and a fascinating discussion led by one of our clergy or educators. Each Chai-Light is self-contained, so join us as often as you like and are able. We can't wait to see you!

WHC's High School Youth Group

Washington Hebrew Congregation’s senior youth group, WHECTY, is the best way to have fun, make friends and gain leadership experience during your high school years. Make the best friends you have ever had spending time with great people, taking part in interesting programs, and eating out at good restaurants. WHECTY is also part of NFTY-MAR, our parent organization, and we participate in conventions throughout the year that bring together over 250 teens from the mid-Atlantic region. We invite all 9th – 12th graders to become WHECTY members and take part in the wide assortment of programs and opportunities we offer. WHECTY has never been better, and now is the time for you to be part of the amazing memories.
