:: Help Israel In This Time Of Need

Washington Hebrew Congregation is mobilizing to assist in Israel’s humanitarian efforts in this time of dire need.  In response to the current emergency, Washington Hebrew Congregation has established the “WHC Israel Crisis Relief Fund.”  We urgently seek the donations of all Congregational families in this effort.  We have selected three worthy recipients of our donations:

  • The Washington Jewish Federation’s Israel Crisis Relief Fund, to help affected Israeli children and the families of Israeli soldiers.
  • The Union of Reform Judaism’s Israel Emergency Fund, to assist Magen David Adom in providing emergency medical treatment to war victims.
  • Kibbutz Yahel, which is caring for Israeli refugees from the North in its Negev community.

Please donate, today, and help us stand with the people of Israel.  Donations of any amount are welcome.  We have set a goal for you to consider of $100 per each member of your household.  WHC members may make a donation online at or by sending a check payable to the WHC Israel Crisis Relief Fund, to Washington Hebrew Congregation to 3935 Macomb Street, NW, Washington, DC 20016.
