The Award-Winning Auxiliary for Women of ALL Ages

We are the women of WHC at every age and stage of life who come together for friendship and service to WHC and our community. Through our dues and fundraising, we support countless causes: from projects at the ECC, our Religious School and throughout Temple; to groups like JSSA, JFGH and the Carrie Simon House; to collecting prom wear for DC high schoolers, books for the Abram Simon School and safe playgrounds for children in Israel."

Every woman of WHC Sisterhood makes a difference, whether she:

  • pays her dues each year even if she’s too busy to come to meetings
  • wants to stay connected with her “mom” friends from the ECC
  • comes to our luncheons for our speakers and the social atmosphere
  • enjoys the camaraderie of mah jongg, bridge and book discussions and helping send packages to our college students at holidays
  • was active in Sisterhood for years but moved away and now connects virtually
  • cooks for the homeless each month and volunteers at the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes…or
  • joins because her mother asked her to — l’dor v’dor

If you are a woman of WHC, join us: WHC Sisterhood annual dues are $45. Then, find your place with us — whether you volunteer, take on a leadership role or simply make your contribution knowing that your dues combined with hundreds of others will do more for our community than any $45 donation you may make on your own.
