WHC Teen Ambassadors

WHC Teen Ambassadors is a new opportunity for our teens to represent our Congregation and community to visiting groups from around the country and beyond.

As the largest Jewish congregation in the Washington, D.C. area, Washington Hebrew Congregation welcomes many visiting groups each year – including many groups of high school students.

Ready and willing to engage with visiting students, WHC Teen Ambassadors will represent the Congregation by giving tours of our facility, answering questions about our Congregation, and accompanying groups to Shabbat services. Not all of the visitors to our Congregation are Jewish, and this will provide a unique opportunity for our Ambassadors to educate our visitors about Judaism.

Teen Ambassadors will be given training to learn more about the impressive history of Washington Hebrew Congregation and will also be provided a special Teen Ambassador polo-style shirt. Being a Teen Ambassador is an honor and a responsibility, and each Ambassador is entrusted with representing the entire Congregation to the outside community.
