Cantors Mikhail Manevich and Susan Bortnick invite you to join them on Sunday, April 2 at 5:30 pm at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center for an evening celebrating the music of George and Ira Gershwin.
The music of George and Ira Gershwin is instantly recognizable. From 1924 until George's death in 1937, they composed more than two dozen scores for theater and film. They elevated musical comedy to an American art form and will forever be linked with the sound and style of the Jazz Age.
Tickets are $25 each, and free bus transportation from Temple to the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center is available. The bus will leave at 4:30 pm and return following the concert. Online sales will close this Friday at noon, but you can still purchase tickets at the door with cash or a check.
