WHC’s FOS (Fistful of Shekels) Israeli Investment Club is for members who are interested in supporting Israel through buying stock in Israeli companies. It is also an interesting way to learn more about the economy of Israel and about investments.

The Israeli economy offers several areas to invest and make money. Israel has more companies traded on the technology heavy NASDAQ stock exchange than any other country outside North America; Teva Pharmaceuticals is the worlds largest manufacturer of generic drugs.

The club meets quarterly, usually at the Temple. A professional advisor is available for advise or research. Some members do their own research, and others follow along. Dinner and socializing are provided. Occasional speakers educate and inform us on matters of interest.
