:: Couples ClubWHC's Auxiliary for Couples in their 20's, 30's & 40's The WHC Couples Club has been an avenue for young Washingtonian couples to meet and socialize both within and outside the Temple. The Club is led by chair persons Danielle and Jonathan Barr along with Rabbi Susan Shankman and her husband, Rabbi Michael Namath. They, along with a wonderful and outgoing steering committee, are dedicated to providing a fun, exciting and intellectually stimulating niche for you and your spouse or partner within Washington Hebrew Congregation. We hope that you will add to its tradition by contributing your ideas, energy and enthusiasm towards the group’s success. Our members include people in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s who are newly married and/or have young children. We sponsor a variety of events that enable our members to meet new friends, socialize and experience Judaism. We invite you to get involved!! Additional activities being planned include: a couples cooking class, a private scavenger hunt through a Smithsonian museum, community service projects, a theater night, wine and/or beer tasting and sporting events. For more information or to get involved on the steering committee, please contact: Danielle Barr danielle.s.barr@gmail.com |
