:: Food For the Needy

The Washington Post has reported that area food banks are experiencing a critical shortage of supplies -some are down to virtually nothing - as donations drop dramatically and the need for free food continues to soar. Local food chain stores have cut back on their contributions.
More than 600,000 families in Washington , Maryland and Virginia depend on these donations. You can help them by contributing a check to
WHC Humanitarian Fund
(Food for the Needy),
or one of the local food banks.

Washington Hebrew Congregation is a non-profit institution. In order to aid our community, we rely on the generosity of our Congregant members. If you are a Temple member and would like to contribute to one of the many funds offered by Washington Hebrew Congregation, please fill out the following form and click "Submit".
