Babies and Baby Namings

Lindsey & Todd Schulte’s infant daughter, Sylvia Roslyn, received her Hebrew name (Dalya).

B’nei Mitzvah

Morgan Godsick, daughter of Robyn & Andrew Godsick, became a Bat Mitzvah.

Gary Schwartz, son of Susan Schwartz and Marty Schwartz, became a Bar Mitzvah.

Honors and Awards

Beth & Steve Jacober’s son, Petty Officer Benjamin Jacober, received the Secretary of Homeland Security Award for Valor.

The following WHC youth represented Montgomery County in the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi games in Philadelphia:

• Melissa Finke, daughter of Ashley & Jeffrey, on the girls’ soccer team

• Henry Gordon, son of Amy & Scott, on the boys’ soccer team

• Cooper Sosin, son of Jill & Jerry, on the boys’ soccer team
